The Sampson Center provides a venue for the exhibition of student art works and student music recitals. It also is available for workshops, seminars and meetings of college students and faculty.  Sampson founded the Sampson Center in his boyhood hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado, which sponsors the annual Sampson Prize given tot the most promising music student at his alma mater, Colorado Mesa University.
